Five teams still fight for four places in the Master Round in SKY Alps Hockey League. The clubs placed on the places 3 to 5 - HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice, FBI VEU Feldkirch and EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau – have the chance to secure their position on Tuesday , while S.G. Cortina Hafro could join the Top 6!

Red Bull Hockey Juniors – EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau
The Red Bull Hockey Juniors finish part 1 of the regular season on Tuesday with a home-game against EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau! The Mozart Citizens were on Fire so far in front of their fans in the year 2017: Salzburg won both home-games against EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel (6:2) and HC Neumarkt Riwega (5:3), scoring eleven goals in 120 minutes! With three points the Red Bulls want to secure place 8 in the SKY Alps Hockey League.
EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau is guest at Salzburg in the only Austrian clash on Tuesday. The Lions are Fifth. Lately the team of Gerald Ressmann lost at Cortina 3:7. After 140 seconds the Austrians were back already 0:4, after 24 minutes the score was 0:4. Now in Vorarlberg starts the big trembling for their Top 6 spot, because after the defeat the Austrians are now just six points ahead of place 7 and have played one game more then the Italians. On Tuesday the Lions visit now Salzburg. The last five road-games were an up and down for Lustenau, wins and losts rotated.  If this series continues then Maximilian Wilfan and Company must be successful in the Mozart City. The first season-clash the Lions won, but at Salzburg they did not have success in the past. Lustenau signed defender Marco Zorec.

EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel – HC Fassa Falcons
With EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel and HC Fassa Falcons two neighbours in the standing face on Tuesday in Tyrol. The Eagles are on place 13 with 26 points from 26 games, the Falcons follow behind on place 14 with 25 points from 26 matches.  For EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel the last five rounds were an up and down, wins and defeats rotated. Lately the Tyroleans lost at Red Bull Hockey Juniors 2:6. The first season-clash at Fassa the Eagles lost 4:5 in Overtime.
HC Fassa Falcons is still without a win in the year 2017! The Italians even stayed without points in their first two games of the new year against Rittner Buam (1:4) and HC Neumarkt Riwega (3:4) at home. After three home-games the Falcons must take the bus again on Tuesday and will travel to Kitzbühel. For the first time since December 18th 2016 the Falcons will face a team from Austria. Also at that time EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel was the opponent. The Italians celebrated in the first season-clash with the Eagles a 5:4 Overtime-home-win. With another success Fassa would overtake Kitzbühel in the ranking.

WSV Sterzing Broncos Weihenstephan – Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro
WSV Sterzing Broncos Weihenstephan is in the year 2017 still without points! The Broncos lost their games in the new year so far at Ghederina 2:4 and at Jesenice with 1:7, scoring just three goals in 120 minutes. But now the Italians return home and in front of their fans the Broncos showed a different face in the last month: At home the eleventh placed team won the last seven games and received just ten goals since end of October! Now Sterzing also wants to surprise Cortina!
Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro made the fight for a Top 6 spot, which would mean a ticket for the Master Round and for the Play-offs in SKY Alps Hockey League already after round 30, with a clear 7:3-home-win over Lustenau thrilling again. On Tuesday Torquato and Co. travel now to Sterzing. With three points Cortina would overtake their biggest rivals from Asiago in the standing and join the Top 6 again! But take attention: The first season-clash won the Broncos at Cortina. But after four wins and 26 goals from the last five rounds the seventh placed club is ready to take revenge and to return into the Top 6.

Rittner Buam – HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice
Rittner Buam have place 1 after the first part of the regular SKY Alps Hockey League season already fix! On Tuesday the Italian Champion finishs the „first round“ with their first home-game in the year 2017 against HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice. The match will be the perfect test for the Super Finals of the IIHF Continental Cup  this weekend in South Tyrol. So far Ahlstrom and Co. were successful in all three (road)games in the new year at  Fassa (4:1), Asiago (4:1) and Zell am See (4:2). The first season-clash with Jesenice the Rittner Buam won after a goal festival and a great last period 6:5.
HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice is on third place and the best not Italian team. The Slovenes were on Fire lately, beat VEU Feldkirch 4:3 and WSV Sterzing Broncos Weihenstephan 7:1, scoring eleven goals in 120 minutes! The „Red Steelers“ are now in a perfect situation to finish the first part of the regular season in the Top 6 and to qualify for the Master Round and the Play offs already after 30 rounds. The next step Eric Pance and Co. want to make now on Tuesday in the top-game at  Rittner Buam. The first season-clash with the Leader the Steel Citizens lost after a 5:2-lead with 5:6. Now the Slovenes want to take revenge!

FBI VEU Feldkirch – HC Gherdeina
FBI VEU Feldkirch hosts HC Gherdeina in their last home-game of the first part of the regular season. Both teams had good runs lately: The Austrians won three from the last four games. After three wins in a row they were defeated lately by Jesenice 3:4. The Italians even were successful in the last three rounds. While Feldkirch is fourth and fighting for the Master Round, the Italians are without a chance to get in the Top 6. The first season-clash won the west-club.
